Students are having a Socratic Seminar on Monday comparing the resources and differences between the North and South prior to the Civil War and during. Students will then study Rebel and Yankee soldiers and Sherman's March to the Sea with a website activity.

Students are finishing up reading "Touching Spirit Bear." There is a Quiz on Wednesday over Chapters 22-28 and a final assessment over the whole book on Thursday.

Math 8 students are finishing up the unit on probability this week. Next week students will begin the unit called "Looking for Pythagoreas," all about area and perimeter. There is a Probability Test on Thursday. Geometry students are currently exploring quadrilaterals, proving the different types of quadrilaterals. There is a Chapter 6 Quiz on Tuesday.
