One of the most important areas to think about when starting the college application process is Financial Aid. Below are a few things to keep in mind:
  • EVERY student applying to a college or university can apply for Financial Aid.

  • The only place to apply for Financial Aid is at the official web site of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • Financial Aid is determined from the students' parents tax information from the previous fiscal year. You can begin filling out the actual application after January 1 however there is much information that you can gather before then. Again refer to the FAFSA web site.

  • Questions about financial aid and the FAFSA should be directed to the Financial Aid Officer at the institution that you are applying.
The QuestBridge National College Match is designed for high school seniors who have shown outstanding academic ability despite facing economic challenges. QuestBridge does not have fixed criteria for GPA, standardized test scores, or income.
