Knight: My Story by Bobby Knight
I married to my wife, Keelin, in the summer of 2009. Keelin teaches at Whitson Elementary in Topeka Public Schools USD 501.
We graduated together from Washburn University with our Master's Degrees in May 2008. We have a black lab, Belle.
I graduated with my undergraduate degree from Kansas State in 2003. I have season tickets for K-State basketball. The 2009-2010
school year starts my 7th year of teaching. All of my years of teaching have been spent at Washburn Rural Middle School.
I am the head Cross Country coach at the middle school, which is in its third year of existence. I am also the WRMS Track
Coordinator and head 8th grade boys track coach. I coach the distance runners in practice. During winter sports, I am an
assistant basketball coach at the high school as the head coach for the Freshmen Boys Basketball team.
In my spare time I like to watch sports, play basketball and slowpitch softball, go running, hang out with my wife and family,
and do yard work. Obviously, I am also a big Washburn Rural fan as I coach year round.
