I have been in education, in some form, for over 20 years. I have been
at the high school level for 18 years and at Washburn Rural
specifically for 14 years. I taught speech and theater at the college
level for 4 years. I grew up in Kansas City and went to high school at
Shawnee Mission West in Overland Park where I graduated in 1985. I am
married to my beautiful wife Donna and we have three children; Jake, a
sophomore at Emporia State University, Josh, a sophomore at Lyndon High
Shool, and Rachel, a 7th grader at Lyndon Middle School.
