Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

1)  Add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and integers

2)  Solve one and two-step equations

3)  Solve problems involving geometry and measurement, ratio, proportions, percents, statistics, and probability

Seventh Grade Mathematics is a continuation of the math taught in the elementary grades.  Many of the topics that were introduced in elementary class will be elaborated in the seventh grade.  General mathematics will be taught as well as a sampling of algebra and geometry.
  • Students will have respect for themselves, their peers, and their teachers
  • Students will follow the guidelines in the middle school handbook; i.e., dress code, bullying rules, behavior rules
  • Students are to be seated, with materials ready when the bell rings.  For students not prepared for class, time will be made up after class. We will work until the bell rings each day!
