Mr. Karns is currently in his 21st year of teaching. He has a Bachelor of Music Education from Emporia State University
(GO HORNETS!). His teaching career started in Washington, Kansas (7 years), then Mission Valley Schools (2 years), and Auburn-Washburn Schools, where he has taught for 11 years.
He is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing yardwork, and watching sports. His hobbies include softball, and performing and collecting music.
