Biography
I attended elementary school at Hudson Elementary where I started playing trumpet in 3rd grade. I then attended Randolph Elementary followed by Boswell Jr. High. While attending Topeka High I played in concert band, marching band, jazz band and orchestra. I did a tour in the US Navy out of high school and started college at Washburn University in 1987. After graduating from W.U. I taught music in Centralia Kansas for three years. I then moved back to Topeka, drove a school bus and subbed for a year before getting the position at Auburn Elementary where I remain today.
