The district elementary librarians created this list of books we felt students should have read by the time they finish 6th grade. These are books that are a part of our culture today and any well-read person should be familiar with them.

Auburn Elementary is using this list for our Reading Hall of Fame Levels, now, and to reach the Honor Level, students must read any 20 books from the list. So I have divided the list into Primary (K-2) and Intermediate (3-6) and added AR info and call numbers to help the students locate the books in our library.
